Another unsolved case, another tragedy
Driveby shootings and daytime robberies
Children livin’ with no food to eat
Mama prayin
Is it ever gonna change
I don’t know what I’m gonna do

Cause, I’ve been drowning and falling
And I don’t know what to do
No one’s here to help me through
These crazy storms

See day by day, month by month,
We hear the children cry
Turn on the news, you hear report about a suicide
Gangs banging through the streets
The homeless find no food to eat
Abuse is on the rise and the pain builds up inside
Some cry
Tell me
It is ever gonna change (I don’t know what I’m gonna do)
Lord change
Give me the strength to make it through

Cause I’m tired of workin
24 hours, 7 days a week
With my broken back and my swollen feet
People linvin in hostility
Tell me where the generosity

But if we all lived in harmony
So many of these tradragedies we’d never see
If we lived by faith and we believe
We can create a better world for humanity

Cause it's not all about you and it not all about me
But the legacy of love we leave behind
Let’s make a difference
Make a change
Try it one time
Another broken family made the headlines
Another unsolved case, another tragedy
Police shootings and daytime robberies
Mostly everybody livin for the fame and the publicity
Not caring who they hurt in this modern day society
