Tell us about your purpose/mission behind this spoken word: We live in a world that daily tries to strip the black women of her divine being. A world that constantly looks down on the black woman and makes her out to be nothing but trash and a tool to be used, abused, and misused. Thus, my purpose and mission behind this spoken word was to remind myself and others who we really are. In doing this, I pray to awaken that divine spirit of worthiness among all of my sisters. This is a courageous declaration, a daily self reminder to every woman that they are worthy, they too matter, and the world is their canvas to paint and create on majestically.
